Present Capital acquires, partners with, and scales cash flow generative small businesses. We take a patient, hands-on approach — working alongside existing owners and teams to build value over the long term.

Run by Mike Bloom, who brings over eight years of experience spanning public market investing, equity research, and operational finance. Most recently, he served as Head of Strategic Finance at Traba, a high-growth technology company, where he helped scale the business to tens of millions of dollars of revenue. Prior to that, he spent almost a decade at hedge funds, including Aperture Investors and LHC Capital, analyzing and investing in businesses across industrial, marketplace, and software sectors.

Present Capital takes a patient, long-term approach to ownership. The goal is straightforward: find a great business, acquire it, and make it better.
